Stoklosa - Marrying into Polish-American family

Good Evening!

"Stoklosa" will be my married name in a few months. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how or if it translates into English. Family lore has it as "1,000 grains" or simply "wheat." There are no native speakers of Polish in his family at this time. I'd appreciate whatever information you could share.

Also, is it really a common name in the Krakow region - or any other, for that matter?

Thank you so much!

It's not 1000 grains. It's 100 grains if you want to translate it this way. But it may have totally different origin.

it's 'ears' rather than 'grains'
This name is quite common in Poland.
