Stop the Polish from entering the UK (yet another thread)

fuuny at least there are some British here whom support the Polish people.
the problem I see here is that UK had such and influx of people mving in their country in so little time that it had an impact they might not be used to them.

thats right amirah,some across the pond may get sniffy about some british peoples comments but this is a small island,over 1 million Poles arriving in 2 years would be like what,half of mexico(literaly ,not in some "iliegals" bashing sense) arriving in the states in that time frame. Some will always have problems with "johnny forgiegner" but most just get on with their lives and take advantage of the culinery delights brought by each succsesive wave of incomers. Mmmmm Curried bigos kebabs anyone? :)

really,do you include the couple I saw on a recent " buy a peasants house off them for peanuts abroad" programe where they were extatic about finding a bargin house in croatia complete with a bullet hole spattered basement that they thought would make a good talking point with guests? (the bullets were from the execution of the previous occupants by Serbs. (calm down crow...)

Im sorry to say it but far too many Polish have come here and now the majority of the english population would like to see you go back to bloody Poland. The bigest issue the different political parties in this country now have to deal with is immigration. Immigration is the one of the biggest issues the voting public want the different political parties to sort out. And it is now mainly the fault of the eastern europeans that the British have had enough! The situation will get much worse and already we are hearing about polish people being attacked in the street and in the homes they live in here in the UK.

The fact is you Polish are nolonger welcome here in the UK and you will see many more english looking at you with hateful eyes as soon as you open your mouths.

The government got it wrong and let far too many of you into our country and now the english see you as parasites,insects and we want you to go home to your own country.

Don't put forward your opinion as that of the entire British nation. If you have an opinion, put it forward as your own. There are many Brits, like myself, who have made great pals among the Polish community and I hope to make more.

dont forget that with immigration you get new skills, your businesses thrive, mortgages bank accounts, lecutresr.... etc

there are many and the thing is we came in a small period of time but people from poland havent brought so much trouble, not inot fraud, not into drugs, not into prostituiion, look at other communites..... turkish - heroin, caribean- - cocaine, marijuana, theft, robbery,

you cannot blame polish people for any troubles

This almost certainly includes driving offences. Poles are dodgy drivers rather than robbers and murderers.

It was a report in the Daily Telegraph dated 24/09/2007 under the heading.... ''Foreigners commit 5th of crime in London''......I got my original post slightley wrong.....As it said ''foreigners commit a 5th of crime in London with the Poles being the most prolific''.....Ahead even of the Afro-Caribean community which is well known for there crime......I don't think many would be for driving offences some how....I mean most people in London use the Tube don't they?

And the head of Cambridgeshire Police said recently that East European Immigrants in general had a much higher crime rate than the locals.

a good point you have made, yes the crime rate is high especially with the poles topping the list,

can i stress oneimportant point here - you said the afro caribbean who are renowned for criminal activity were not prominent the reason is this that they have been in uk for a loong time, they are british nationals, same with other migrant populations.

to be honest with so many people from poland and figures like this we are doing a decent job.

i am not encouraging crime merely stating my opinion.
now the uk govt should educate all poles coming into uk via these forums, polish express also our embassy should take accountability.
i am not sure the scale of crimes but thorugh observation i do not beleive they are as horendous as robbery, fraud, murder, and drug dealing

I don't think you read the report correctly.....It said Poles were top for violent crime, sex offences and theft and handling.
