Surname Berdecki/Berdecka

My great grandfather's name was Diomid Berdecki (not sure about surname spelling in Polish), I do not know many about him...

Does this surname (Berdecki or Berdecka for female maybe...) exist nowdays in Poland? I assume it is not very popular. So i could possible that some Polish people having this surname nowdays are my relatives :)

There are many polish archives online nowadays where you can find a lot if you now few names, dates, awards they might have received(like medals during the wars)
