Teacher from Ukraine looking for a job in Poland or in UE

When it comes to Poland I think it`s best if you`d contact the language schools directly (there are thousands of them here) and ask if they need someone, though I don`t know if you have good chances cose when it comes to foraign language teachers then there are many British/American/Canadian native speakers who want to find work here and it`s natural that they have far better chances of getting hired than someone who`s native language is other than English. But on the other hand I`ve seen Ukrainians working as tourguides in the Royal Castle in Warsaw, so you`d never know

Is it hard for a Ukranian finding a job in Poland and get the Polish citizenship ?

I don't know the Polish foreigner law..

It depends on your profession - i.e. if you`re a specialist in construction or shipconstruction there should be no problem with it. I know that i.e. the Gda 4;sk shipyard employes many Ukrainian workers as well as the construction industry.

I don`t know much about the immigration law, but I think that to obtain a citizenship here you have to have:

- a job for 12 months/or a social security and a source of income in your country to be first allowed to settle here for a longer period than 3 months.
- when you`ve setteled here after 5 years you`re allowed to apply for a citizenshiptest.
