polishgirltx, no offense but how the hell did you choose Texas of all places to move to? Seriously, I'm just curious.

Wow I didn't know so many of you guys were living in Texas! Yay! Are there any from Houston, or mostly Dallas? We should have a get together :)

Hmmm maybe it would be best to meet in the middle? I don't know what would be a good median between Houston and Dallas, maybe Temple would work? And for me it would have to wait until September because I'll be out of town until then.

Or have you heard of that Polish settlement, Panna Maria?? Apparently Poles settled there a long time ago and were isolated so they kept the language and customs. That might be a cool place to meet! It's near San Antonio.

Austin is great... lots of going on because it's a student's town.... and there is close to DFW and Houston... you need to visit Dallas though :)

yeah....it seems that they cannot handle any kind of weather, but during winter, it's just scary :)

Austin, San Antonio, Dallas-Ft Worth are my faves.. Never really cared for Houston .. traffic is hell there... and so is the humidity.

I moved from Texas after being there for a long time. I am originally from the South(Louisiana)...Texas is not South...maybe to Chicago people...but for us from Louisiana...Texas is the West, lolol. I don't miss it down there one bit except for my friends...2 of them came to visit Chicago and one is trying to get his company to let him transfer here. It's okay for some, but it's a big Red State

I love "slippery road" that has to be the funniest place ever because there is absolutely nothing in New Braumfels except the waterpark
