a quinceanera is a celebration in the spanish culture. when a girl turns 15, she has a party called a quince, which means 15. its a big thing that celebrates the girl becoming a woman. i went to my best friend's last year and it was REALLY extravagant and really awesome.

I don't know if in Poland the 16th birthday is a big celebration as in USA. Some families
have big parties for a 16th birthday and other families only celebrate Names Day.

In Poland only 18th birthday is "special".
