What are the best Polish sausages? (apart from by bfs)

I know. They can be HUGE! But which ones are the tastiest? I love them dipped in that red beetroot/horseradish stuff.

Guys... I was actually talking about sausages here.. those garlicky ones beginning with K are good... and the white ones that you put in soup.

Ooh blimey.. dont get me banned... I'm merely expressing a healthy interest in Polish cuisine. .. now is it best to eat them hot or cold.. and should they be eaten whole or with the end chopped off?

Depends on the sausage. Some you can eat cold or hot. I don't find it necsssary to cut the ends off unless there's still string on it.

I got two here in the fridge at work...........a big fat one for snacking on its a "KRAKOWSKA" good smoked garlicky one, The other is "KIELBASA RZESZOWSKA" two minutes in the microwave and dip the end in mustard great.

Love boiling rings also but as always quality meats make the differance.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the wrong thing when talking about Polish sausages. It's even awkward to order them at restaurants. People look at you funny when you say you want a Polish sausage.

ah thanks for reviving my thread.. personally I think you need to chop the end off otherwise you get that bit of string stuck in your mouth. Ive just discovered the cwilka with cranberries... its fantastic. Anybody know which are the best sausages to cook in a soup?
