- Amirah, in Europe it's a bit different, but in America there is the tribe of piggies that have been besmirchng us Poles for over a century. I do not mean here Americans, let alone decent Americans like yourself. It's just the tribe repeating hateful messages in this or that form, and fooling Americans, and making many of them Polonophobic. The piggies have their reasons for doing this. As I said, in Europe it's a bit different (but not very different); the piggies generally try not to be as vulgar as they are in America; they hide this vulgar side from the Europeans (for the sake of their own piggies' image).

Puzz, I don't know what you've experienced, but can you elaborate on the :"vulgar" part? I don't see this nor am I blind to it. I interact with Americans and PL every day and the worse I ever hear is a PL "stupid" joke. These aren't acceptable, but far from vulgar. I actually hear more black jokes than anything else.
Can you provide some examples of this vulgarity? I'm interested to hear what you've personally been through to make that statemant.

I have been made fun of becuase I was the only white kid and school plus other stuff. and I know Polish history and I think that it is sad what they are made fun of. I am not Polish but I know how some feel.

I'm Polish and I was never made fun of. Quite to the contrary. Stop feeling sorry for yourself Amirah. And, where the heck did you go to school being the only white kid? Every time I drive by a school playground, I see variety of kids. Even in some "posh" neighborhoods.

eurole for your info I grew up with in a mexican and black neighborhood you would probably never heard of. I went to a high school where there was very few white kids. look I am not feeling sorry for me.I grew up in a ghetto area and where I went to school. you do not know me so do not go there with me.

yes but you live in Chicago where there are 1.8 million other Poles. If that is true, you have as many Poles in Chicago as there is in Warsaw. It is easy to fit in!

America is Europe in a nutshell. and even though we call ourselfs Americans.. our
roots all come from over there.. so if people are calling names.. it must have come
from the roots.. and probably the recent ones.. because all of us who have been
here a while have learned to live and breath among each other peacefully and
