The US and France have much more debts than Poland, and they're rich !

Every countries have debts !! There are influx of money everywhere, stop saying that Poland is different !

It is different, Poland is poorer than most countries because the poles do not understand fiscal thinking and do not respect money. They never have and they never will. End of story.

If you compare Poland with western super rich countries who benefited of the US money after World War II, don't. England and France for example had a great help from the the US while Poland was in the hands of communism.
Now the country is rebuilding itself, and the economy is growing very fast, investors love Poland, and salaries are rising too. All that takes a long time.

The Poles are not paying back their debts or they would not be able to squander so much money. Obviously, international banks have written off the debts.

well i'm asking you one how easy is it to trace your roots (family tree) in poland? my mum doesn't even have a birth certificate just an identity card.

Err, the collapse of Communism and the ensuing socio-economic changes were more than just a trend.
Also you didnt need to visit Poland to see this as I believe it was mentioned on the news at the time.

Few weeks ago I have been in the pub with my friends and I spoke to few english chaps who asked me if is truth then in Poland its still black and white television eheheh. I said yes there is hehe as long as u got black and white TV. I f u know something similar just put on LOL.

I regret that my fellow countrymen are so ignorant about Poland , but you have to remember that we have had a lot of years of anti comunist propaganda in the UK...We were told over and over what terrible people were on the other side of the Berlin wall , what terrible lives they had , how lucky we were to be born in a free country....A lot of us believed it....When i was a soldier i stood on the Berlin wall and never in a million years did i ever imagine that one day i would live on the other side of that wall...Don,t be insulted when people say such things , just try to educate them , invite them to Poland , they will love it as much as i , and all my friends from the Uk that have visited me do.....The most common question i get is....Poland...where is it exactly....???

If you do have a car with the driver's seat on the other side to everyone else,
get a large dog (Owczarek Podhalanski, for example) to sit by your side on the passenger seat.
Then try to make it look as if you are not the one doing the driving.

I was telling my mother that my boyfriend Marcin and I are going to Poland this upcoming summer, that we are going to land in Germany and drive to Poland. She was suprised to find out that Germany was anywhere near Poland.
