I wish my front lawn was gothic so it would cut it's self

Welcome to the forum Thiaren. I saw a large group of goths in Poznan and some black metal heads listening to Bohemoth ...seems like these are 2 growing groups in PL. What part of PL are you living?

I didn't say i'm happy of doing this, but You should undestand one thing, you can't force someone to get therapy if he doesn't want it. If somebody asks for your help that's different.

Pruszków, small city near Warsaw. Check first post :P

Gotcha. I wouldn't think you'd be happy doing that. It's all good my man. Everyone lives their lives differently. I certainly can't tell you what not to do in life....especially to be happy or not. You'll find yourself....no one stays gothic for life I used to be into the industrial scene..not the same but just as dark and angry. Anyhoo...enjoy your stay here and some of us have good ears (eyes) incase you need to vent

Greetings

Did you know there is Prószków near Opole ? It's Polish ''Pole of Heat'' (''Biegun ciepla''), the place with the largest average temperature in Poland And I don't know whether they have any mob there. But if they had, it would be called ''Mafia prÓszkowska''

My apologies, Thiaren. I've had some painful situations when it has come to people in my life that cut, and I know that unless one wants help nothing can be done. Please understand though that it is very worrisome for the people who love those that go through that. Not to mention, the feeling of helplessness that goes along with not being able to help.

No harm done
But you shouldn't force your point of view on anybody, sometimes it could bring memories (not exactly those good)

Well, I like goth culture,, I used to go to a really good goth club (people were goth (90%) music? not that much), and despite I have really little in common with goth (the thing is I really do not like is geting dressed only in black clothes) I fitted in well.

And a stupid question to you: Is it just a coincidence that you work at funeral house, or you looked for job that is somehow linked to death?

Well those "all black" cloathes are a mark of past, todays goths like different colors too

There are no stupid questions...
I was looking for a job, and there was an opening there...

I still like to listen to Joy Division, The Cure or Souxsie and The Banshees, but I guess that some people wouldn't even consider it Goth.

Matyjasz- believe me or not, Joy Division is my favorite band (I even tried to put Ian's photo as a avatar, maybe it was too big, I'll try again, just try to make it smaller) and it's not Goth... The lyrics might have smth in common with the culture but rest? Not at all.

Ohhh, and the Cure not bad at all either .

Anyway, what Goth music can be called anyway?

Thiaren- well, I didn't know about that... Seriously, so how other a goth can be dressed? All goth I see/know are all black, maybe tradicionalist . And man, I hate this strong make up and fat boddies, there are so many female goths that look like that... But it's probably Canadian thing, there are so many fat people... Ohhh, and of course not all of them look like that.

I believe you. Didn't the manager of Joy Division coined the term "Gothic" to describe their music? Basically it's not important if they are or are not. The important thing is that we like it.

Well... Goths stay with black, at least i do. But my friends wear red, dark blue, even pink!!!! Those "goth princesses" are common all over the world. It's easier to "get in to" the gothic culture, cause we're very tolerant.

Not really :P
I got to many issues on my head right now to be happy.

Edit:

Here's a little something my friend really liked. I wrote this not so long ago...
If any on would like i can translate it.

czasem zbyt ich wiele by móc policzyć wszystkie,
czasem zbyt trudno odróżnić te dobre od złych.
Te najpiękniejsze znikają bez śladu,
natychmiast zapomniane, odchodzą,
światłość dnia odgania je…
