Is this a polish woman first name

Can any body tell me is this a woman polish first name the first 2 letters are right the others maybe wrong or in the wrong order any idear what it could be thanks the name is karocha

Thanks krysia i think katarzyna is the closest as the pronunciation of rz is sh right i think the name had an o in the middle though any more guesses thanks j.

Kazimiera
Kaja (a sort of name for Karolina)

As tornado2007 said Kasia is short for katarzyna = Katharine in English and it is very often shortened in informal circumstances.

you can get all sorts of shortened names etc etc, also there are different ways of saying a name for example, Karolina, Karola, Karolinka and Kaja are all ways of saying the name (Karolina) you will often find that there is more than one way to say a name.
