Tim Horton's dissapoints coffee drinkers in Canada;)

As a Canadian drinking a lot of coffee I have a choice of different places to go:

Tim Horton's is an iconic coffee shop (besides hockey, maple syrop, maple leaf etc.) where prices are low and service is fast.

However, their marketing scheme seems to be getting on some customer's nerves as of lately. Roll up the rim seems to be causing some dissapointmens in Tim Horton's customers, since they drink more coffee and win nothing.

I know, I know, Canada is boring and uneventfull, but belive me. We have some issues to deal with!!!!!!

But you choose not to exercise any other choice except an overpriced, swill producing American Franchise. :-)

maple leaf

Leafs are out of the playoffs already, time to cheer for Les Habitants! Go Habs Go!

All circumstantial evidence!

And what do Star*ucks drinkers win (other than a case of indigestion)?

I guess all those campaign promises are out the window......

Whinging Canadians the pair of you. Just drink the coffee and stop moaning. I still have not forgiven you lot for taking my eldest son away from me. Seduced him with the fresh air, space and good life you did. Two months he's been gone for good now and he's already bought a pick up truck and the accent is sounding dodgy already.

I stopped buying at Tim Horton's for two reasons:

- their products are now about 1/4 of the size they used to be, while the prices are 1/4 higher.
- they don't accept ATM payments.

they have got wireless connection. Besides, my Apple looks better in Sturbucks and would be probably stollen at Timmies;)

For a fee...

(so I understand, as you wouldn't have caught me in that franchise unless being dragged, drugged, kicking and screaming all the way...)

mmm... Apple danishes...

doing the swirl for the last 40-something seasons :-(

well it wasn't used in the last election as effectively as it could have been. You should have countered with some of your own Poseur Posters.

Silver plates with Tums would go a long way!

Wouldn't disagree. It is easier to "redevelop" the portion sizes than to as your loyal masses to accept a price increase due to inflation.

Where did he move to? Newfoundland?

Shameful behaviour. Makes you wonder about parenting skills these days.

Next thing you know he will be mispronouncing roof, about and saying "eh?" all over the place.

Have you been to BC to check on the lad yet?

Yea, but they only want to satisfy British (among others) market needs - over 4 tonnes of seal fur in 2006.

Well for no one winning, I certainly seem to get a lot of those rims at work....this one girl won a coffee almost everyday sometimes twice a day

and it's hilarious because there were manufacturing defects on the cups, people were suspecting us of like just sitting there and rolling up the rims, it's ridiculous=)

Tims sucks these days. Damn the 'roll up the rim' business! I never win :(
My other beef, wtf is up with the tea prices? It used to be $1 for any size and now they're charging per size...b@stards.

Still cheaper than starbucks. And it seems to me that starbucks products are needlessly (IMO) sweeter than timmies'. Do they want their customers to get diabetes? :)
