You know how EU would have reacted if a slavic alliance refused to recognize Kosovo for example or proceded to separate negotiations with Russia and gave free permit to Ukraine.
Let's say gasprom buys 50% of energy sector in every slavic country.Would EU be happy?
well noticed. And, imagine how would so called west react if Slavic Alliance show capability to solve crucial economic problems of members of that Alliance. If, then Slavic alliance show capability to have batter political relationship with China, India, Brazil, Japan, etc then countries of so called west. If, Slavic Academy of Science show interests for re-examination of Slavic past on newest scientific principles. If, Slavs represent themselves as leading grupation in space exploration and even colonization. Etc, etc if
Those and similar things are reasons why would EU, USA, Canada and Australia react with enormous hostility on Slavic Alliance. They obviously has all reasons to prevent development in dirrection of any form of Slavic Union. It would be much harder to steal resources from Slavic Alliance then it was case when Slavs were segmented and divided.
