How to go about buying/renting commercial property in Krakow

Hi,

Following countless visits to Krakow over recent years I am exploring the possibilities of starting up a business and I am very interested in buying or renting a bar/restaurant within the city centre. What is the best way of seeking such opportunities as I can only find sites that sell/rent residential or retail shop units.
Thanks for any help or advice given.

Well, real estate agents probably...

Bar or restaurant in the center or Kraków should be a quite good business, so rather not many owners want to sell them and maybe that's the reason.

The simplest way is to put an advertisment in newspaper or magazine with proposal of buying such business.

A friend of mine (living here) has been trying to buy commercial property the same thing for a while. She's found that all the good places get rented very quickly through word of mouth. Anything that makes it to the estate agents is there because it's more difficult to sell (e.g. because there are problems with access, or it's unikely to get permission from the authorities or the owner doesn't want a bar open past 10pm or something like that). She runs another bar in Kazimierz and now wants to be a landlord rather than go through the daily hassle!

Hi there!
If you're still interested, I might have something interesting in Kazimierz district. Quite big one - over 200 m2 for sale, there's already project for a restaurant, for sale.
Here's my e-mail: jolcia212@gazeta.pl
Looking forward to hearing you soon!
