How to Say "I've Missed You."

My friend Monika is returning to the US from Poland this week, and, while I've been studying the language, I'm not terribly fluent. I'd like to be able to great her with "Hi. I've missed you." I know "hi" is "Czesc" or something akin to that, but I cannot for the life of me pronounce it.

Any help?

you welcome. You can use both forms.

"teskiłem" is I have been missing you
"stęskniłem" - I've missed you

Literal translation of "brakowalo mi ciebie" is "I was lacking you" BUT obviously no one speaks that way in English.

Hello, I think it's useless to create a new thread for my question.
I want to say : "I miss her".

Is this correct : "Brakuje mi jej" or "Tęskni mi jej" ?

And what is the exact difference between "brakować" and "tesknić" ?

Thanks in advance ;-)

Quoting: Moonlighting
"I miss her".

"Brakuje mi jej" or "Tęsknie za ni±"

And what is the exact difference between "brakowac" and "tesknic" ?

In this context its the same.
But "tęsknić" sounds more natural in my opinion.

Thanks Wyspianska.

One last thing : isn't "tesknie" too strong for what I want to express ?
In fact, I'm not "dying" for her. She is just a friend I haven't seen for a month.

U can also say "stęsniłem się trochę za Tob±" what means "i missed u a bit" :)
