The wobbly bassline era was the best. Less of the MC bellowing a load of shite over the top though!

I love House and Electro. Toronto has the best Party scene I have seen to date. I really want to check out Ibiza at some point.

When you make electronic music like I do, ppl nearly always assume you make danceable tunes. True, I do the odd danceable tune (I deliberately avoid to name any of the genres within dance as I have to confess I hardly can hear the difference anyway), but mainly my tunes are ones you can either play in a club (the lounge section or standing parties or something) or at home. Coming from the country with just about the most famous DJ's in the world (DJ Tiësto, Junky XL -he's from the same village as I am-, DJ Jurgen, and so on and so on) I am kind of sick to hear how great this music is. Call it oversaturation, but there are 3 guys that own a studio somewhere in Holland that produce all the commercial hardcore crap that is in the Top40 and it has been there for years. That is the kind of crap the 14 year old girls listen to on Disko-nights at school. They are multi-millionaires off their music, but I don't regard it as my country's greatest export-product, if you know what I mean.

M-G (went also to Ibiza and found that it was an overcommercialized and especially overrated pile of crapule - I mean, come on, 15 Euro for a lousy, small and dirty glass of warm beer? Didn't like the quality of most DJ's I saw either - I really didn't see any difference with an average DJ in a club in Ireland, the UK or Holland)

Some information from the facebook group of this event:

This year Sunrise Festival will be held in Kolobrzeg from the 25-27 of July. Friday and Saturday are the days of the actual event and Sunday will be the traditional After party on the beach. To purchase tickets go on the mdt-agency.pl site and they are available starting from March 1, 2008. They cost 118zloty per night, so for both fri dayand saturday it will cost 236zloty, this works out at todays exchange rate to be about £51.30 or US$102 or 67Euros for the weekend.
The line up is already out and there is still slots(only two slots) for a few more DJ's that have yet to be announced.

Sounds like a rip off. Why are music festivals so expensive over there?

Its only £60 for the three days heineken festival ... comparing

Glastonbury (similar to heineken)... costs £150+ and thats not including booking charge
Gatecrasher (similar to sunrise i guess) .... costs £130 for standard weekend ticket plus booking fee for two tickets and the luxury of a tent it is £255 and a VIP ticket for the weekend same as a glastonbury ticket

so i am sorry but events in poland might be expensive to those living in the land of the states but in comparsion to the UK alot better value for money :)

Yeah, I guess for 3 days that's ok. I missed that part :) Some of our 3-4 day festivals cost over $200
