Where would Poles (from Poland and abroad) migrate in case of rapid coming of new Ice age?

similar thread or question was never initiated on some forum, as i know. So, idea for the thread seams to me original. So, here it is... totally hypothetical but based on scientific data, eventually ultimately interesting topic.

What is especially interesting, maybe this insight into historical data and eventual new megatrends may reveal us true nature and background of modern day political/military maneuverings of world powers (countries/governments in general)... meaning... if world powers (governments) clash over limited resources in the world why not over habitable zones in case of global climatic changes (that occurred in history). Historically, Ice ages were process but some scientific ideas speculate even about rapid climatic changes through history.

Where would Poles (from Poland and abroad) migrate in case of rapid coming of new Ice age? What you think?

While you contemplate have in mind facts that modern climatology and scientific data confirmed that during historical phases of Ice age complete Northern hemisphere wasn`t habitable (territory of modern day Poland included).

All in all, forget about Canada, Iceland, Great Britain, Ireland, Western Europe as well as great deal of USA. As for Slavic world, in a hypothetical new ice age era absolutely habitable would be Balkan (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Macedonia), parts of Ukraine and Russia. Hungary, Slovakia, Moldavia, Romania, Albania, Italy, Spain, Portugal would be habitable, too. /for available habitable zones consult world map that is presented above/

In ancient time people of ancient Europe used three main territories for refuge zones when Ice age occurred >>>

red, pink and green areas on the map - ancient refuge zones

Imagine this hypothetical situation and accelerated events (few years or decades). Where would you suggest Poles to go?

could be good choice. Territory of modern day Serbia was never (here never means last 70.000 as it is confirmed) affected with Ice sheets during Ice ages. Also, Serbians likes Poles very much and believe in direct common origin (not only common/kin Slavic origin but also common tribal/ethnic origin).

In case of climatic catastrophe, Poles could definitely count on Serbian hospitality and shelter. Serbs would take it as natural return of our own population. Same is with Montenegro and Serb Rep. within Bosnia-Herzegovina. We can say- Poles would be welcome on Serbian lands on Balkan.

Warming of planet actually preparing conditions for new Ice age. Its final stage before Ice occur. But rapid warming (as we all can note), confirms that cooling also may come rapidly. Maybe even more rapid.

Poles are always welcome in tropical countries. So don't sweat it.
besides, there is enough space in the planet for everyone if only humanity stops playing the "my land, my borders" game.

You would have to migrate south to Africa maybe a Israel will be good but let say if it comes what world population would shrink to, would we see wars for agricultural land ? would we care about oil or water more ?

Yeah, now I got it. Thanks Crow.
Fires of Russian forrests are the cause of our heavy winter today. Now the UK residents, that are going to freeze to death, know what to blame. Or whom! If the fires were extinguished erlier, the warming woud be smaller, so the winter would be mild.

I see it clear now...

Sigh...well I'll say what you want to hear with this stupid question. The Poles would migrate with their brothers and sisters the Serbs, and they would live happily ever after in never never land while the rest of the world freezes to death. The end.

or is it?

Serbia isn`t tropical country, you provoker. Did you ever heard for term `Balkan winter`? There are areas in Serbia, coldest in Europe, where is -40 C absolutely normal at winter. But, Serbia was never covered with ice sheets during Ice age glaciations.

and, after all, there is no need to me to sweeten Serbian stance on Poles (and opposite). We, Poles and Serbs have perfect historical relations (remind yourself of Racowie in medieval Poland- just for example).

After all, Serbians itself aren`t only Balkan population. Serbs consider itself to be Balkan, Central European and Northern European population. We Serbs are reduced in numbers but we live from Baltic to Balkan and we all know for each others and believe in common tribal origin. Serbs and Poles share that common tribal origin.

Serbia as country is situated partly on Balkan peninsula and partly in Central/Eastern Europe.

besides, there is enough space in the planet for everyone if only humanity stops playing the "my land, my borders" game.

but, THERE IS ENOUGH SPACE FOR ALL HUMANITY, for all human civilizations (Slavic, Western European, African, Chinese, Indian,...). Problem is that some civilizations wants to steal from others and to avoid cooperation and exchange of any kind.

i presume, maybe even when become `astral beings` humans could feel necessity to have something what belong only to them. What`s wrong with private property?

I see it clear now...

hm, Neron burned Rome. But he was crazy. Its confirmed. Now, Russians are crazy (it is also confirmed) sometimes, it is truth... but, THAT crazy?!

To The Moon, Mars, other galaxy, you name it ;-)
Frankly I would be surprised if humanity manage to survive another 1000 years on this planet without full scale WWIII this time with nukes... With global nuclear war there will be post-nuclear winter everywhere including Serbia so nowhere to escape really... We better start to build this Slavic escape spaceship ;-)

i found quite hilarious that this apocalyptic thread finished in Travel, Tourism- section of forum. It is similar to idea that one contemplate about travelings after he died

In that case, please, think of Serbia as of paradise, not as of underworld.

as for Serbia, ok, i know that. As for Croatia, Croatia would be full of Germans if come to this scenario. Many more people (of Europe and world) would be in the move if come to `new Ice age` scenario. You can bet, Germans would choose Croatia
