What's the best way to get from the airport in Wroc³aw to the city center, by bus or by taxi? What does each cost? Thanks.

there is a direct bus from the airport to the centre - I don't know the current fares but I guess it is about 3 PLN - I have no idea about taxis these days - it was long time since I ridden any taxi in Wroc³aw - my guess (from the distance) is 30-40 PLN - if you need to get to the centre (like railway station) quick taxi is the way to go as depending on time of the day a bus ride can take as much as one hour (though these is extreme and according to the timetable the ride is less than half an hour) (well it was back in my days in Wroc³aw and some new roads have been built since then wich alleviate traffic jams)

I'm pretty sure someone can inform you much more precisely

Scottie ... with regard to the bus - have a look here wroclaw.jakdojade.pl/?locale=en.

Enter under A "przyst. PORT LOTNICZY" and under B "przyst. Renoma". From there you can easily walk to the city centre. You will see that it costs PLN 2,40.

With regard to the taxi - since Sunday March 11th the new airport is open. So the distance is a little longer. Nowadays there are only three companies who are allowed to carry passengers from the airport. The fare should set you back around PLN 50-60.

If you want to go for a beer, don't hesitate to send me a PM ;)

Thanks. Time isn't an issue, so I'll take a bus.One more question. There's a new airline in Poland that offers inexpensive flights within the country but I can't remember the name. It's something like OLT. Can anybody help me with this this?
