Hello there ...
well happens that next week I go to poznan and wanted to know the cheapest option , dont intend to do auto-stop ,
so if from berlin to poznan www.mitfahrgelegenheit.de is the best choice I have to say , that not this time ,
because for monday and tuesday there is only the DB option at 29 Euros

any1 knows a better way?

thx

PKP's website produces a slow itinerary which is Berlin-Lichtenberg to Kostrzyn nad Odra (NEB 5173), Kostrzyn to Krzyz Wielkopolski (REGIO 80426), and Kryz to Poznan (REGIO 87148). I have no idea how much it costs, but may be cheaper than 29 EURO. Then again, it could cost you more.

@ depox
The thing to do to make it cheaper to is to buy a ticket from Lichtenburg to Kustrin on the German side. Then when you arrive in Kostrzyn get off the train and buy a ticket to Poznan. Don't worry the train waits a while there. (but don't blame me if it doesn't) :)))))
This way you avoid international fares.

Best bet is exactly that - it's about 10 Euro (less if you can find some people going to Kostrzyn - people will approach you in Lichtenberg asking if you're going there - if so, it'll be about 6 Euro) to Kostrzyn, then about 25zl from Kostrzyn to Poznan. All in, about 15 Euro each way.

Finally I think that I`ll do Berlin - FFO > FFO - Poznan

, but look what a girl says about the trip FFO - Poznan

than wait at the station for polish "tlk" or "/osobowy/regional" train and buy ticket in złoty at the ticket controller to the station Poznań or Zb±szynek (but check it in the internet) in zb±szynek you might also have the change, but if you good plan the trip, you don't have to wait to long for a train to poznań - cost around 20-30 zł (depends on train = it's not all 10 euro if good remember the current course).

thing is ... she says that you have to pay in Slotys .. and other guy here says that you can pay in euros in the train

... :(

You can for the train from FFO-Poznan.

You can even buy the ticket from FFO's train station if you really want.

u cannot pay in euros in any polish trains apart from international 'intercity trains, best not to pay on the train at all but at the station

Oh yes you can - you can use the local currency of where the train starts.

Tried and tested in both Chyrów (UA) and Frankfurt (Oder).

Change will be given in Zloty, but that's not an issue.
