I'm not sure, but I guess that rather not.

In short no
For EU citizens
Passport or identity card
For non-EU citizens
Passport
You will need a valid passport.

Visa
There are 33 countries whose nationals do not need a visa to visit the EU for three months or less
If in doubt, check with the nearest consulate of any EU country.

from the polish consulate website ... this is the link indicated the countries that dont need a visa to enter poland ....

msz.gov.pl/Consular,Information,2345.html

this page outlines the prices for visas as you would need to apply for one even though you have a STUDENT visa for the UK ONLY ....

londynkg.polemb.net/index.php?document=80

Hope that clears up any confusion for you!

I am also chinese, and I live in Denmark. we do need visa for poland. I have a schengen visa which allows me to travel around 15 european counties( not include UK), but poland is not a schengen country.
I am applying polish visa now for the Easter. My boyfriend is now in poland. This the second time I apply for polish visa. It is pretty easy if you give the embassy all the documents they need.

it is not that bad. I sent my passport and application form with other required documents to the embassy of poland in kopenhaven, then get the visa in about one week

the only problem is that if you are going to stay in a polish family instead of booking a hotel, you have to provide the embassy the Id of invitator and the paper of the houseø(appartment) you are going to stay in for nights.
the other solution is to get an official invitaion letter from the polish local authority, which will take more than one month to get it.

good luck.

Hi Moire! you're the one who seems to know a lot about Polish visas.

My situation is almost same as yours, but different countries. I'm an Indian working in Beijing, and my gf (was in beijing uni) is back in Warsaw, and I would like to visit her this May. But I dont know if I can get a tourist visa from Polish Embassy in Beijing, because I'm non-chinese.

But I read your message that you're a chinese citizen and got a Polish visa from Denmark, so it's a bit similar yeah? Anyway, my gf also asked if I needed an invitation, but there's too many formalities with that, so I'm just going to book a hotel in Warsaw, it's easier this way.

Do you have any suggestions on what documents are required ? for example - Hotel booking, Flight confirmation ? Even the embassy is not able to give me the proper response.

hi, vivek, i think you can get polish visa in china, since you are working in china.
i provided my work contract in denmark, my salary situation to the embasssy, plus airplane ticket.
i have to say that it is pretty easy to get polish visa in denmark or every west european country. they know i wouldnt vanish in poland because i have good job in denmark.
but in china, i dont know how it works. i have left china for 7 years, maybe the visa and passport control police changed with time.
good luck

Hi Moire, I've handed my application form in, but they haven't taken my passport in because they said they have to "verify" if I can apply for a visa from China. Anyway, lets see how it goes!

No. But If you can get a Polish visa, so what's the problem with getting a British one ?
