Anybody know of any good but inexpensive restaurants on the outskirts of Warsaw? Am thinking under 150zl for a family of four to eat lunch at. I know that Villa Czersk is excellent but I'd expect to spend at least double that much for four people there.

My memory's too flakey.

The Hotel Boss at Międzylesie had a nice restaurant and not at all expensive but it's a while since I was there.

I have eaten at both of them, both good Karczma food, the litmus test for me is always the ' Zurek kielbasa ' both are good. Different settings of course. Klepisko is close by the marina at Zalew Zegrzyńsk. ZALEWAJKA is on Old Lasu in Konstancin, so its off to the forest afterwards to walk off the food. Enjoy.

If you go out to Konstancin, be sure to go to http://starapapiernia.pl/u-nas-znajdziesz/ 38. Jan Piekarz – piekarnia. The best bakery in Warsaw, the MAKOWIEC is the best I have tasted, a lot of people claim it is ' the jewish bakery ' not sure about that though.

Ocywizna is quite new built over the las couple of years, it is just off the main road immediatly before Magdelenka. I have never eaten there it looks nice though, typical wooden Karczma.
