Tomorrow I'll be travelling to Gdańsk to Warsaw and wondered what the best way to drive would be?
I hadn't thought about it until now because I'd already put the destination into my sat nav and it reckons taking the A1 straight down to near Toruń and then turning on to the S7 is the best/fastest way, but at last minute I thought lets have a look on google maps. Now google reckons taking the A1 straight down to near £ódź and then the A2 across into Warsaw.

I usually take the longer A1/A2 route, even if it's costlier and longer than S7 or a combination of A1/DK10. Can't bother with DK10 (there is no S7 near Torun, by the way) which is narrow and uncomfortable to drive on. From what I hear, the last bit of A1 which remains unfinished, should be open by May 1st. However that unfinished stretch near Wloclawek/Kowal is only 25km long or so.
