Holidays next month - suggestions for which part of Poland to visit

Well, my university is giving a 10 day vacation between the summer and winter sem. Could someone suggest which part of poland to visit!? (I've already been to sklarska poremba and krakow and i live in warsaw).

Depends on what you want to do. It's rather cold for outdoor activities.

Maybe skiing in (or just enjoy) the Polish mountains. Many cozy places there.

Or wait until it gets warmer.

I can tell it will be difficult if you don't like to ski. You can go and see the mountains but you have to be prepared. Without good shoes it could be dangerous. And it's freezing out there. You can go seaside, to breathe some iodine :) but guess what ? It's freezing out there :)

And just in case you did not see some of the things in Krakow included, read through this Recommendations for Krakow and Myślenice and feel free to contribute.


I will add that Zakopane has many Polish tourists this time of year.

And even if you don't like skiing, there are many cozy things you can do in the mountains in the winter.. hehe.
