wheather is bad for bmx. In spring/summer I see lots of teens on bmx on Plac Wolno¶ci.
I also know that people are skating somewhere near ASP building (ASP building has strange architecture, is on a hill so they uses stairs and parking for skating).
I think that in £ód¼ there is no professional skate park.

If you like biking there is something called "masa krytyczna" . A group of people is gathering on pasa¿ Schillera (I don't know the days) and ride bikes togheter. It's prefessionally organised. I think you maye meet there lots of new people.

Recently I was carding. I really enjoy it even though the racing track wasn't impresive (but still it's the best we have in £ód¼). Unfotunately it's in Port £ód¼ covered parking:
http://lemans.net.pl/mod/art/id/31.html . There is also a carding in M1 and somewhere else (I don't remember) but I guess it's not open whole year.

What about IMAX Cinema? We have both analogue 3D (IMAX technology) and digital 3D. Both in CinemaCity building in MANUFAKTURA.

In Manufaktura you have many nice things to do:
- bowling
- arena laser games (but I don't know what is it)
- a climbing wall
- Museum of Modern Art (so called "ms2" or Muzeum Sztuki 2)
- lot's of clubs, restaurants and a shopping mall.

Do you like ice-skating? On Bombonierka there is really cheap ice rink. If you are a student you pay only 5 PLN for 45 min of skating. Another 5 PLN for rent a ski-shoes.

Thinking about approaching American Corner (at University in Lodz) about:
1) International song circle (2/month or weekly);
2) ESL Cafe concept (coffee, cake and language--or beer);
3) Something else that is a regular gathering for English speakers from Poland and elsewhere.

Any ideas or interest?

Lagawniki in the Spring/summer will be ideal for BMX and all that.

Lagawniki

£agiewniki :)
Oh, I wasn't there so many years. Need to visit it some day.

There is also Rudzka Górka were some people ride on quads but I think it might be a little bit dangerous for bmx.

Oh and I forgot. In Park Poniatowskiego there is some little track with bums and hills for bmx. Nothing impressive of course but I guess it's better than nothing.

About other atractions:

In Park Poniatowskiego you may also find a tennis court tent (not sure of prices).

There are also many places in £ód¼ where people may horse ride (£agiewniki, Lublinek).

On Lublinek airport there were organized sky-diving courses. Not sure if they are still organized.
