A short trip to Krakow. Inexpensive, cultural, historic, with lots of nice women?

I'm looking for a bit of advice really. I've got a couple of weeks holiday from work at the end of September and am looking at going away somewhere. I like the idea of Krakow as I'd led to believe that it's quite cheap, cultural, historic and there are lots of nice women looking to pick up guys.

Can anyone tell me their experiences and advice/tips on going to Krakow please?

Hello,
Krakow is indeed a nice city for a visitor- it has a lot of historical sites ready for a tourist to explore as well as some good facilities (restaurants, hotels etc). The thing I like about it that is quite compact- most of the sites you might be interested in are located near the main market square (Rynek) - just grab a map and you can walk for a day or two to have a feel of the city. Not sure about the "women looking to pick up guys" notion and *where you got this idea from* but I will just ignore it for now :).

Go on a ballon trip to see Krakow and its main sites within an hour or so. That should perfectly do.

The rest of your time in Krakow you can spend looking for nice women, indeed.

Here are prices:

And a warning: someone shoots at the balloon with a bow or crossbow. Not too often, though.

Merged: Kraków Old & New (snapshots)

Hi, I thought I would share some snapshots of the fascinating contrasts and sights in Kraków, which I visited this weekend..

OK, sorry - the images are too large. I'll try again later. Could someone delete this thread for me? I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks.
