Shyt, I haven`t been in the mood for showing new photos because I thought hardly anybody is interested.

But if you are, I will go on.

What about tomorrow? The schools have broken up for Christmas holiday so I will have more time at my disposal.

Stop fishing for compliments. People here have already said they are one of the best aspects of this forum.

Ok. I can`t resist. :):):)

Forest Surprise Park in Ustroń offers one more unusual attraction: birds of prey shows. Hawks, owls, eagles. Amazing, even though I don`t like birds too much.

The Responsibility of Those Who Have Become the Root

Pam answered, "Behold, I have taken upon myself to speak to Pawian, who am I but dust and ashes.
Suppose five of fifty righteous are lacking? Wilt thou destiny the whole thread for lack of five? ... Suppose forty are found there... Suppose thirty are found there... Suppose twenty are found there."

Pawian answered, "For the sake of twenty I will not destroy it."

Then pam said, "Oh let not pawian be angry, and I will speak again but this once. Suppose one is found there. Me."
Pawian answered, "For the sake of one, you, I will not destroy this thread."

pam:

Nope, the photo wasn`t taken in the desert. It is the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viviparous_lizard which
lives in damp places or near water, including meadows, swamps, rice fields, by brooks and in damp forests. In the northern part of the range the species is also found in lowlands, where it occurs in drier environments, including open woodland, meadows, moorland, heathland, fens, dunes, rocks, roadsides, hedgerows and gardens. It lives mainly on the ground, although it may climb onto rocks, logs and low-growing vegetation.

i live in the uk, and sand lizards are pretty rare here. i have a pond in my garden and found what my lokator said is a sand lizard . they normally like heathland and are more common further south than here. it definitely wasnt a newt. he told me it was a sand lizard because of the colour of its belly.this was about 6 months ago now...and sadly no sign of more...sand lizards dont only live in the desert

Sunday was a busy day. In the morning, we went one-horse open sleighing, dashing through the snow.

Next, we went to Gubałówka Mount:

Gubałówka is a mountain above the Polish town of Zakopane. The mountain is a popular tourist attraction, offering commanding views of the Tatras across the valley below. .

When I was a child, the cable cars were old and slow so the ride lasted about 10 minutes. Now they go fast, too fast to fully enjoy it.

Climactic view

I still have a photo of me next to that big polar bear and his dog.

In case you get lost in the mountains

Ladies go first - that is the Polish gentlemanry.

Polish, English and Russian - main languages spoken in Zakopane. They should also add Hungarian.
s

Jupeeee!

As a child, we used to spend a week or two in that cabin in winter holidays.
s

Bad boys! Climbing a roof of a house? Lucky it wasn`t guarded by a dog.

The main pathway is occupied by stall on both sides. Fekking commerce!

I don`t regret I didn`t buy me a piece of Highlandish jewellery.

I am fond of such architecture - half stone, half wooden.

Watch out for speeding sleighs! Someone should fine those fast and furious racers!

Originally a small wooden chapel was built in 1960s as a private enterprise of Bachleda Księdzulorz family. Because communist authorities wanted to knock it down, for some period it was removed and hidden in the family`s house. Despite repressions and heavy fines, the chapel survived and came back to the original site. It was rebuilt in its today`s shape in 1981.

A Polish couple started dancing next to a disco polo music stall. Foreign tourists who saw it were flabbergasted. Why? They didn`t like the music? Or the fact that the young lady was smoking?
