Traveling on a TLK (Tanie Linie Kolejowe) - where to buy tickets?

we are thinking of traveling on a TLK train, but read that you needed reservations. Where can you buy these tickets? Just at a station before you travel or do you need to purchase the day before?

At the station just before you travel... when you buy your ticket, be sure to state that you want to travel by TKL! Good luck :)

I think that you don't need reservation on TLK anymore...? I travelled with TLK several times lately without reservation. However, on Intercity you usually still need reservation. If they didn't change everything once again...

and mind that there are also lots queuers If you want the cheapest tickets go by InterRegio.

There are reservations in 1st class and in certain 2nd class trains - but I'm not sure if there are actually any trains where reservation is actually compulsory. Even 1st class isn't reservation compulsory, just optional.

delphiandomine: But be warned that the quality can be diabolical ;) And he should also remember that words like "tanie" have to be taken with a pinch of salt in Poland - just like the "Szybka Kolej Miejska" in Warsaw isn't exactly "szybkie" ;)

That way you can print out your own tickets and there's no need to queue at all to buy them. I've not bought a ticket any other way since I found the website!
