US visa free "extension"

Adfbt678  Aug 12, 10, 19:58    #1
I have a question regarding travel to Europe on a US passport.
I know you only get 90 days visa free travel in the EU on a US passport;but say that after 80 days have gone by you cross over into the Ukraine from Poland and get your passport stamped with a Ukrainian seal, then walk over to the "other side" of the line and back into Poland. Will the statutes of limitations reset themselves making way for another 90 days in Europe or is this not possible.
Has anyone from America tried this?

no, most of Americans don't own a passport, so they don't travel abroad, especially to Europe...lol

You mean like any European citizen (including the visa-free ones like we Belgian) treated like *** by the Gestapos at any given US border crossing?
You mean you Yanks deserve a red-carpet treatment?

You know each time I am at Długa 5,heading for the hassle-free EU section, and I see some Americans between all these Vietnamese..waiting...and waiting...and waiting... I later have a cold beer on that and it makes my day.

Yes, and plenty of them have been caught. The rules state quite clearly that you have 90 days out of every 180 - the existence of a stamp at the border doesn't mean a damn thing, it just means that you restarted the clock on that date. If you can't prove clearly that you're legally in Poland, then it's deportation and a year's ban.

I hope the Schengen states charge Americans for entry now that they're doing so for EU citizens!

And about the foreigners office - oh yes, it's great fun watching that ;)
