Warsaw’s most beautiful disctrict or village

I was having a conversation about the most beautiful district or village within a 100 klm radius of Warsaw proper. My choice that ticked all the boxes is: Podkowie Leśnej http://www.podkowalesna.pl/ Any other candidates for the most beautiful district/village?

Wedle: Podkowie Leśnej I'm no great fan of the place but I can see why some people like it. For me, Góra Kalwaria and Serock (big villages really) are nice.

Liw (with the castle) and Pniewnik are nice places - in fact there are a few nice villages along that same main road and all within 100km of Warsaw. They all have that 'eastern' feel that you don't get so much west of Warsaw.

Almost a small town rather than a big village, if there's a difference, but Przasnysz in the far north of Mazowsze is well worth a visit. Czerwinsk is a much smaller place, and no station you you have to go by car or bus. Both Przasnysz and Czerwinsk-nad-Wisla are hidden gems.

It's a town rather than a village, but for me almost all the boxes are ticked by Ciechanow. The only thing it is missing is a decent hotel (but I've been told about a newish one which looks worth checking out).

Góra Kalwaria

Not a bad little place, but you might as well just carry on going and get to Czersk. Now that really does tick all the boxes: excellent views, charming little village, nice castle, wonderful restaurant.

Harry: wonderful restaurant. I like Czersk but haven't been to the restaurant - we usually used to continue over the bridge and eat round Otwock - also an interesting place but not picturesque.

a) we used to go to a grill place in the forest near Otwock Kolonia b) no, but I've been to the animal sanctuary at Falenica

Podkowa Leśna is absolutely beautiful! I would also recommend Ciechanów.
