Trip to Zielona Gora Mid-May

Hello

It looks like I will be going to Poland mid May. I should be on the western side by Zielona Gora.

1. Is it better to take the bus or train from Berlin to Zielona Gora or would I be better of renting a car?

2. What would you go and see in the way of tourist attractions? Is there anything that is cool to see that might not be standard tourist things.

3. Is there anything over rated that you would pass up?

4. What is the weather like that time of the year?
