Anyone admit to living in the area?

I'm originally from Ireland but have been living and working in the Trojmiasto area for a few years now.
I'm increasingly interested in meeting native speakers for conversation ... Especially people with young children (mine are 10 and 4)

I have been to Sopot and I really liked it as I visit Gdansk every now and then. Mind you, it is twenty three years since I have been to Gdynia though. I expect that things have changed a bit.

ah. i see.
are there any events, occasions, mingling sessions, rowdy evenings in public bars (nearly typed conveniences) etc ?
details of common interests, identifying marks and initiation ceremonies would be appreciated.
