"Tusk" is an American prison slang so Donald Tusk won't succeed in the US

A Polish mate of mine told me that Donald Tusk will never be taken seriously or succeed in the USA because the word 'Tusk' is American prison slang for an inmate who is rather keen on sodomizing other prisoners! Can anyone vouch for this meaning of the word?

I guarantee you that when the average American hears the word “tusk”; they visualize an elephant, not a sodomizing convict. - : )

I’ve never heard such slang, and highly doubt Donald’s success in foreign policy in the States rests on prison slang or the individuals whom would be familiar with it.

try looking up 'tusk' in the urban dictionary - cant give you a ling due to anti-spamming policy.

check the last entry, cant help but laugh at the 'tusk meeting bush' scenario ;)

Good grief, that definition is true then. Thanks for the interesting dictionary link. Liked the bit about Tusk meeting Bush in the oval orifice, oops sorry I meant oval office!
Pretty crazy, Poland just gets rid of a crazed teletubbie and replaces him with prison sodomite! I suppose you have to laugh.

- And that's very good. Maybe Poland will at last get the hell away from fascist America. America doesn't need us, and we don't really need America. In fact, nobody in the world really needs America, except one little $hitty country somewhere in the Middle East.

- Who was allegedly that 'crazed teletubbie' and why would you call him so? So Tusk is a 'prison sodomite'? Prove it.

And who the hell are you? Got a 'last name'? Let me ridicule it a bit. Got a nationality and 'ethnicity'? I guess I know what they are....

Hmm...if you pronounce it in an English way, then yeah maybe. The point is that it's pronounced [toosk] ;)

Based on what?
Few people agree on things here.....there just isn't the kind of unity that could support such a movement. The religious right was the closest we've ever come to that.....and that has faded into the background at present.

- Based on America's conduct. Have you had any idea that there's an aggressive war going on waged by America on two countries at once; they are called 'Iraq' and 'Afghanistan'? And the majority of American population seem to be for these two wars and America's aggressiveness.

For one, fascist nations are well known to give many rights to illegal immigrants within its borders.

How does that translate into a totalitarian state? Are we working on the same definition of "fascism"? You have to remember to separate the People from its Government (god I get tired of saying this!)

The "majority" is for this war? Puzzler, are you HIGH on something? Where are you getting your information?

Are you saying that most Americans are familiar with prison slang including government officials?

How did your "mate" learn American prison slang?

but in all fairness, its only recently that many americans have started to realise that their government is destroying their reputation worldwide and starting to appreciate the global hatred there is for them... when their government decided to go to war, most of the country was all for it... but strangely enough many americans seem to have forotten this

The only reason ANY people supported it in the first place was because the media convinced them that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and was crazy enough to use them AND that Al Quaeda had to be stopped/suppressed in Afghanistan to prevent more terrorist cells. And when word came out that we were going to war most of the people I know were shocked (myself included)!

it was the ease and speed at which americans were convinced, and their anger at anyone who dared to disagree with them on the matter, that has lead to the expression stoopid americans coz, lets face it, they fell for it hook line and sinker

I think if there was any "ease" it was due to the shock of 911.
But MANY of us did not support the war, and were then accused of not being patriotic.

- No, this thing alone doesn't make America 'fascist;' it's the combination of the tight relationship between the government, military, industry and the media, plus national chauvinism and aggressiveness. This makes America a fascist state, I think. It's not the ol' fashion fascism, but a more sophisticated one. The views questioning the prevalent view are tolerated only seemingly; since they are never repeated to the audience on a massive scale (the media do not promote them), it's as if they didn't exist at all, or indeed were suppressed.

Maybe the point is that a lot of countries ended up sending troops over there...and now we are all stuck in a big nasty mess that's hard to get out of?
