by your suggestions, i should become member of some communist party, in order to move on?

Listen!

You can share your private property with whom you want. You can share your values and your children with whom you want! But, my private property is mine! Only mine!

If somebody attack my private interests, its war! If somebody endangers my access to resources which were once available to me, i would seek to see those resources available to me again, for my different interests.

The only thing that I've suggested to YOU crow on both threads is that in MY opinion it's better to make friends than to remain bitter and live in the past.

Don't twist my words... for eg.

Are you trying to antagonise me with this crap?

U.S. radar in Czech Republic: betrayal of national interests

16/ 07/ 2008
http://en.rian.ru/analysis/20080716/114072528.html

As many as 70% of Czechs oppose the deployment of the radar, which is meant to be linked to the planned antimissile base in Poland. However, the Polish government has not yet signed the agreement and may never sign it.

Washington has signed the agreement with the Czech Republic against the wishes of several major European Union countries. The move suggests that the radar is needed more to look beyond the Urals than to intercept Iranian missiles, which cannot reach Poland anyway.

The Czech government is a political collaborator that cannot carry out the deep economic reforms it promised during the election campaign that brought it to power. But it has signed the agreement with the U.S., which is vivid proof of Washington's interest in the radar and the amount of pressure it has put on the Czech government to accept it.

I refer interested parties to the focus article I posted b4. It showed the more beneficial aspects in relation to the cosmos.

However, I now feel that the time is nigh to stick the two fingers up at America and deny them this 'defence' shield which will likely attract more offence. It has nothing to do with Iran. It's all spin. Iran, if anyone, may attack Israel in the future but the Czech Republic, I doubt it. The whole thing is premised on paranoia and strategic gains.

I am disappointed that the Czechs were so gullible. Hook, line and sinker I'm afraid. Stick to making beer guys, that's one thing u do really well.

What's your problem with the Czechs, Sheepshank? Kidding. Hey the Czechs go to Washington and broker their own deal visa-wise.. per the Economist anyway. Seriously, I hadn't heard they accepted any kind of radar , missile agreement with the US.. or us. I hope you've been led astray. It's best not to befriend the US for awhile.

Bad policy and all that rot.

Who cares what Russia thinks? They can't afford to mess with anyone.

I agree, but I think we are all missing the REAL point. Putin WANTS America to put new missiles in Poland. Then Russians can put a few of their own on Belarus border. Russia likes to play with missiles, it's the only thing they have left. Their military is pretty much of a joke.

Besides, Russia has bigger worries than Polish missiles:

But why would they do that Seanus? They've never attacked another nation in their history. Only responded to an attack on themselves.

Russia secretly selling arms to Sudan through Belarus

Sudan Tribune reports the Sudanese government received a party of Russian MIG-29 combat fighters in violation of UN Security Council (UNSC) resolution 1591. A source close to the Sudanese army told the combat fighters were shipped discreetly from Belarus.

UNSC resolution 1591 prohibits selling arms to Sudan government or Darfur rebels.

Belarus to sell Russian Iskander to Iran and Syria?

Deploying missile launchers Iskander in Belarus could be just an intermediate stage for selling armaments to Middle East, believes the military expert of Novaya Gazeta Pavel Feldengauer.

Colonel-General Vladimir Zaritsky, the chief of artillery and rocket forces for the Russian Ground Troops stated on Wednesday that the supply of the new Iskander tactical missile system to Belarus would be an asymmetrical response by Russia to the deployment of a U.S. anti-missile system in the Czech Republic and in Poland.

Ok I read it but it's simply sensationalist headines with what looks like a baseless accusation. It quotes a nameless source close to the sudan military and goes on to say Russia was accused last year of selling arms, but again without any actual evidence.

I'm struggling to understand your reasons for posting it.

This time don't look at the pictures, read the news.

I bet if you lived in Russia for a bit you would have a new respect for the USA.

I did read it carol and as I pointed out all it does is make a baseless accusation without any evidence. It quotes an un-named source and doesn't present any evidence. Belarus might be guilty of selling these planes to Sudan, but again there isn't any evidence presented in the article.

If you look in past posts you will find Putin saying he is taking care of Iran. It was baseless when "katyn" bodies were found also. Russia does not hide the fact that they control with threats, oil and military intervention. I guess I don't feel Poland should look at any actions as baseless.

WARNING harsh images Communist regimes around the Globe are responsible for a greater number of deaths than any other political ideal or movement, including Nazism (death toll totals more than 94 million people). In the USSR alone communists killed more than 20 million people. Despite that Western world refuse to accept the fact that their Allie, the Soviet Union in fact committed war crimes and genocide even larger in scale than that of Nazi regime.

There are no communist regimes left in Europe. The largest of the remaining communist regimes that's left is America's largest trade partner.

Nobody disputes the horrors that were carried out under communistic tirany. But, and this is what's important here, communisim ended in Europe 20 years ago.

sure but, it must be that you didn`t understand me

my point is that even with EU and NATO they are far behind Serbia. So, why would Serbia desire to become EU member at all costs, not to mention that EU/NATO force anti-Slavic policy in the region and not to mention fact that Russia obviously has more money then EU/NATO (consult Montenegro how that looks like when Russian money arrive; that is MONEY).

much, much more

listen

on the Balkan, when Russian money arrive, for example, real estate (a peace of land) which was worth let`s say 500 eur, bocoming worth 50.000 eur. It`s just to give you idea. Proportions are behind economic logic and even behind imagination. Russians are full of money. People who live in region affected by Russian financial arrival becoming welthy and rich practicaly at night. Some people say that it is Russian respond on situation, respond or NATO/EU expansion. Diamonds, gold and oil of Siberia are fully mobilised but also becoming obvious that standard of living of ordinary Russians increased. In Turkey, Russians are most respected tourists. Turks would tell you that Russians pay best

That`s why EU impose pressure on governmants in the region to block Russian acess, to block Russian banks, oil companies, investments... but, Russia coming, that`s for sure and, fortunately Russia changed and learned

Interesting question and worth a google.

I would say that Europe has more "old" money, most of the financial industry etc.
Russia has massive natural resources that are only just beginning to be exploited, Russia is also exploring new geographical areas.

Who has got most money - I would say probably EU.
Who has the greatest wealth - Russia.

Moscow is now the most expensive city to visit.

Number of Russian tourists visited Turkey which was 250.000 in 2000 reached to 2.460.000 in 2007. Russians spent 810 USD per person in 2007.

Germans are first in ranking with 4.200.000 tourists. Germans spent 1.250 USD per person in 2007.

23.300.000 tourists visitted Turkey in 2007 and the income is 14 bn USD. It means 601 USD per person.

According to percentage increase in number of tourists visited Turkey, Russians are the first nation in the last five years period.

If to be respectable depends on money spent Russians are the second after Germans. :)
