Coming to England - should my friend get passport/driving licence here or in PL?

my friend is soon to be living in england and she does not have either a current driving licence or valid passport, is there any advantage in obtaining either of these in poland and using here or just get both when she is in residence.

also is there anything else she should do which would be more difficult to achieve when she is here.

many thanks

If she's Polish she should get the passport in Poland.

Airlines require an ID, that shows your citizenship on the card. If she doesn't have that she can't fly anywhere.

No, national ID card is enough. Little point in obtaining a passport unless you actually have to.

Well, if they are planning on working in the UK they will need their passport, also for things like bank accounts etc

But you can travel throughout the EU with only ID card.

+1

If she is planning on staying in the UK long term than she should learn to drive in the UK as she will learn the correct way of driving, She won't get a UK passport though.
