Scottish people in Poland

Okay, I work for a Scottish newspaper and have been asked to find out if there are many Scots in Poland. Everybody knows about Poles moving to the UK post-2004, but I'm led to believe the movement has slowed a bit and that a lot of Poles are going back to Poland, in some cases taking British partners with them.

We're interested in this from a Scottish perspective: are you Scottish or do you know anyone who has moved from Scotland to Poland in recent years, either for employment/business reasons or for love? Would be great to hear from you.

Kenny contacted me after he'd (already) contacted the Sikorski club in Glasgow, I sent him here.

He's specifically interested in Scots who have moved to Poland since EU membership of Poland.

If you want to get in touch - my e-mail is office@lindenia.

I've moved here for 3 months from Edinburgh 9 years ago now :)

You'll find a few more Scots on the FB Polska TA page [facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=108947232459649] - here.

what happened to our buddy Seanus?

I was wondering too, probably burn out, looks like the baton has been passed to delphiandomine....

Hey, thanks to everyone who has replied. Trevek is right - I'm looking for people who've moved more latterly, certainly post-2004 but ideally even more recently, post-credit crunch even.

delphiandomine, I'll be in touch.

I moved out for the first time during the credit crunch and then again after the credit crunch for much longer. Is that going to be relevant to the article? As I said, direct any questions my way if you like.

Saenus left, osiol left there must be something toxic to personality when you think real world is inside forums

I am here after long long time, just for fun. Its very interesting to see the same nicknames still on the PF basment with no real life :)

If I am correct, my great grandmother's mother was Scottish. I'm 100000% Polish so that doesn't really matter, maybe when I visit Edinburgh, there might be a huge 'WELCOME HOME'.
