As a student, how hard is it to get a US tourist visa?

For someone who's proving ties to Poland through studies (just finished a bachelor's, starting a master's), what are the chances? How long does the process take (weeks, months?), and what kind of visa duration can be expected? Any information specific to the US Consulate in Krakow would be very helpful.

Polish friend traveling to the U.S.

Hello! I have a friend that wants to come visit me here in the u.s. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what he needs in order to get here. I know its kind of a tricky process and I dont want something to go wrong for him when he getting his visa and stuff.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks:)
