US visa for business trips for a Polish professional living in the UK

Hi,
I am a Polish citizen working in the UK. My new job, starting next month, will require me to occasionally (1-4 times a year) travel to the USA where a part of our company and some of our client companies are based. These trips can be at a short notice so I would like to get a visa to generally cover me for those occasions. I wonder if anyone had similar experience and can tell me what type of visa I should apply for and if I am likely to get it without problems. Generally, how much time the application process takes and how 'painful' it is in terms of paperwork, costs, etc.

Many thanks for your advice!

You need Visa type B-1. It's Business Visa which is often combined with B-2 (Tourist) Visa.

You must submit the following documents:
- non immigrant visa application DS-160 (online),
- valid passport with expiration date at least six months beyond the intended stay in the US,
- one picture 2 "x 2" (5 cm x 5 cm) taken within the last six months,
- proof of non-refundable fee for processing an application

In addiction one important paper is invitation from the US company.

Application cost for the Visa is 160$.

If anybody went through the whole process please share with us and provide more detailed information.
