We live in rural South Dakota and our local GM dealership is having trouble finding anyone to work as a car mechanic. How would I locate any young men interested in re-locating to the US. timf@emssensors.com

after work in rural SD

There are bars and honkytonks, bowling alleys, cinemas and restaurants. Have fun!

and how about work permit? ;). Potential employer shall need to prove to the INS guys that no American/resident can do the job and I seriously doubt it;). Why hiring Poles instead? Just to pay them less? I know that very often people have no idea what it takes to move/work abroad.

The reason for difficulty in finding someone for the position is that Americans are having fewer children and the ones that they do have are not very industrious.

South Dakota is not as much a wilderness as some might suspect. In addition to bars and bowling alleys, we also have churches.

Employers can sponsor immigrants with a H1 visa when there are no qualified applicants for a job. I have done it in the past.
