Do many Polish people in America hate Americans?

You just like to argue, do you? The first German settlers came to the US about 400 years ago and brought their habits and foods with them, just like anyone else who came here. Hamburger, the way we know it, is all American, simple as that. It's a same with hotdog and everything else too. I lived in Germany long enough to know the difference. Same with pizza, an Italian invention however, after tasting both, I prefer ours (matter of taste).

I think Poles in the US who hate americans are the type who don`t have US citizenship and/or work menial jobs. As a result of this they don`t fit into american society and miss Poland, but don`t want to go back because they would not make as much $.

Actually i wouldn;t even call it hate. It`s more like they tend to complain about certain aspects of life in the US and try to make themselves feel better by saying that things are better in Poland. For instance, ``food tastes better in Poland.``

I can see hating ignorant redneck Americans, or shallow, materialistic Americans, or whatever little brains believe that Americans are... But, really? Hate ALL Americans? Meril Streep, and Johnny Depp, and Alicia Keys, and Tom Hanks... What a stupid, inflamatory question.

then again, why hate anyone at all? I can imagine to hate someone who did something wrong to me or my relatives and friends, other than that, it's more or less dislike, if that much.

From what I have seen they don't hate Americans but they are aware of the differences. And those differences are not only cultural but educational as well. Typically the high school level of Eastern Europe is comparable to 2-4 years at an American college/university. Most of the Europeans that I know were in high school as the Berlin wall came down. They had to learn many different subjects in school. And they all know more about American history and literature then Americans. Most speak 2-3 languages and have traveled around Europe.

If you look at Americans of the same period, they usually have never left the USA. They only speak English. They have no interest in other cultures or world events. They can tell you all the names of players on "Da Bear" but don't even know where Poland is located or it's capital city. Europeans have more class as well. They dress better and look better. I can go on..

Americans in general feel that everyone wants to come live in the USA because the USA is #1. Even though it is not. And in some cases it is equal to a third world nation. They have an attitude of arrogance even if they don't know it. They think Europeans want to come live and work in the USA because they want freedom or higher standards of living. Many European women are looked down if they marry a citizen because Americans think it is just for the "Green card". In the 90's maybe they did. But the 90's were a different time. The USA is not the country it was 20 years ago. Wages are down but expenses are higher. There are far less opportunities. Europe has progressed and now with the EU people from poorer countries can travel within the EU and work. They don't need the USA anymore. Poland has one of the best economies in Europe. Poles no longer have to put up with the bad attitudes of Americans or work without benefits at low skill jobs. They can live in Europe and fly home often with little expense. Or live and work in Poland with the right skills and earn a good wage. The USA should have given Poland visa free travel.

Being an American I can tell you the terrible things that have happened when the third world invades your area. It isn't pleasant. I would rather live with a lazy European then a lazy cigany. In many areas you can't let your children walk home from school because they won't make it home. Or if you want to go out at night you risk attack. In Chicago nobody worries about going into a Polish neighborhood. But Black and Latino hell yes. I would prefer to live in Eastern Europe any day over the USA. But to survive it seems you must have your own business or a degree in a field that is needed.

But Black

They are not 3rd worlders. They are Americans for generations. If your country failed to raise them to good citizens then you can blame no one but yourself for that.

The government doesn't have much say in how parents raise their children or the values or lack there of.

Won't end up like that because it has no colonial history.

You have no control over that; you've got the Schengen treaty.

There's something like media, which has a lot to do with how people raise their children and what values those children embrace.

You have no control over that; you've got the Schengen treaty.

That's why they'd rather move to more affluent EU countries than Poland.

I just tell it like it is. Regardless of political correctness.

There's something like media, which has a lot to do with how people raise their children and what values those children embrace.

I have no control over what the media does. It is owned and controlled by a few large corporations. And they push whatever agenda they choose. And often it is trashy. MTV, Jersey Shore, Keeping up with the Kardashians..and the music that is pushed onto consumers is gangsta rap, hip hop and other degenerate works. But black americans have lots of issues. Minorities in the USA love to cry and complain in order to get free benefits. And so you have a culture of entitlement. But that is another topic.

You seem to be hitting the right buttons IMO, but not addressing the problems at there core. Youre being a little bit biased based on your experiences and i cant blame that, however in order to truly be fair you need to look at the underlying principles.

Youre openly anti muslim and racist, come on man be a bit smarter than that.

Some of the best men whom ever lived were "openly racist". Google a historical figure you admire and add the words "racist quotes".

It will be an eye opener. Even Che and Gandhi were "racists".

That before the west became brainwashed with the multiculti and anti racism, everyone was more or less openly racist.

And they would be again if the brainwashing ceased.

The west is as brainwashed with multiculturalism as the east was with communism.
