I want some Polish Christmas.

I may be having polish man staying with me christmas eve and christmas day, Now I dont know him that well, but dont want him to be lonely, anyways, I would like to buy gift....23 year old. I dont know? lol. Also want to learn more about Polish christmas customs and traditions, somethings I could maybe incorperate. Try this: one bottle of vodka....add the rind of a lemon and a couple of tea-spoons of sugar.........shake.....replace the cap......leave for one week.........drink. The eve of the 24th Dec is when the family gathers up and eat the 12 dishes, borsch, carp, poppy cake, give each other presents at the christmas tree, and when the santa is coming. Dec 25 and 26 are just normal days to see the family but there are not any particular celebrations, at least any of which i would know.
