Can anyone give me advice on how to learn polish? I have looked at several community colleges, and have found that none teach Polish. I have seen CD Rom courses...but I don't want old world style Polish, I want to be able to speak in modern Polish. Thanks in advance for the response!!

I heard that somewhere before.... Wasn't the answer something like: "Get a Polish Girlfriend"?

I got a program for the computer, phrase book, polish-english dictionary. Polish churches and cultral center type of places would probably be the best bet.

Although I must say I like Krysia's idea the best.

Go to BYKI.com

You get free download of any language you want. It's a very good step-step program, they pronounce words in Polish, teach you how to write them, etc. It's excellent and fast. And it's all free!!!!

I know this. I'm learning Swedish.

I do not know why it is difficult for you. If Poles can learn it, why can't you?
