OK guys, I'm in!

How do we go about signing up for a team - or shall I just sign up and then we sort out the team afterwards?

Just sign up for know, we can sort it later.

We need to nomiante one person to act as team 'manager' who represents the team and all correspondance goes through them.

Well, there's a choice, you can run it, or you can stand at the sidelines with red and white pom-poms... :p

porta is put off by how easy it is!! Maybe he could come over and win the race for PF? Wonder if he'd find that more of a challenge?

Hmmm.... now I'm torn between running and wanting to wear the cheerleader get-up.

Perhaps I should run dressed like an extra from the Toni Basil video LOL!

I guess we are open to suggestions......or we let individuals decide for themselves?

I raised 13k this year and took 16 Scottish pupils to Poland to work with pupils from Osieck (50km south of Warsaw) on a major envorinmental design project. I am trying to raise money to bring the 16 Polish pupils over to Scotland on a week long exchange visit in May next year and do something similar..........

But this might not appeal to everyone, there are other charities that may be more deserving.

Would be interested in the views of PF users, especially if we run as a team, it would make sence to support a cause nominated by the Forum.

my immediate thought was to raise money for the forum itself as they rely on donations and are a cause close to all of our hearts ;-)

time for a thread asking for ideas of deserving causes i think - lead the way

Would prefer if Admin did this so we know we have their support. I don't want to register a PF team if they are not behind us..........or cheering from the side like PDoll with pom poms!

..........but it might be seen (wrongly) as a commercial venture.

Suspect more people would donate if it was for a registered charity?

Just random thoughts, I'm not decided myself yet.........
