Anybody know how easy it is to see Scottish Football in Wroclaw's pubs? I see that there is a couple of Scottish pubs and that SPL games are broadcast on Polsat Sport also.

I'm heading there to teach English next month, and was wondering if anybody knew.

afc ( A Don by any chance?)

I prefer to avoid Scot/Eng/Irish bars and you can get a better feel for Wroclaw, or any town for that matter, if you go to local bars.

But if needs must the HIGHLANDER PUB, RYNEK-RATUSZ 15, WROCLAW (Polska No1 CSC) in the Old Town Square shows Celtic games. I don't know if that is Sky, Setanta or Polsat Sport.

yes, i prefer local bars too - it will be my first time in poland but i intend to avoid touristy bars whilst there.

However, if Aberdeen are on TV i would love to catch the dons playing so cheers for the info.

I was in Wroclaw in May and watched the FA cup final in the Highlander. Expected it to be busy but only a handful of people watched the game.
Think it was on Polsat Sport.

I watched the same in the Guinness Pub, kind of busy and it was on Polsat, the announcing was in Polish, but after living in Germany for 4 years, I'm used to watching matches where I don't understand the announcers.

Hi afc, As someone said previously, try Highlander bar in the rynek (square) in Wroclaw. Watched a few Celtic games there back in the 90's, when I was teaching in Opole. Whilst in Wroclaw, go to the Panorama Raclawicka too...amazing!

Cheers Donny-Lad!
