Well, it can't be as bad my earlier suggestion. At least the women are prettier and everyone drinks (mostly..)

Hey I'm from Poland and I'm not sure... It's good idea to go to the UK now? Is there still enough place for me? I'm serious! ;-)

It depends on what you're looking for out of life. Yes there are lots of Polish in the UK and now would be a good time to come in order to get all your paperwork in order just in case they start to limit the amounts emmigrating to the UK

it is not the best time of the year to find a job in the uk.you may fing some part-time,short term jobs for a christmast period but usually, most of the employers would ask you to come back after the new years eve or even after a 1st week of january.this is from my experience an exparience of a few of my friends.
there are a lot of poles in the uk now but there are still a lot of vacancies available.it used to be easier to get a job for somebody who didn't speak english because now the emloyers tend to employ poles with reasonable english, which in your case, seems not to be an issue.

Do you think that they would like to invade Uk? They could struggle as old English ladies are more busy with bingo, meeting with nice cup of tea, gossiping.....

why? they are actually decent people who work hard for a living and come to england for either a better life, or because they know they will make a positive difference. All the poles i know are absolutly fabulous and i love them!

Then you're an ignorant person! I know what you think: Poles are here to take our jobs and houses. Wrong! I believe the Poles are here to seek a better way of life, just as did generations of our people who moved to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Rhodesia, South Africa, etc.

Tell you what, mate: I would sooner have a Pole as my next-door neighbour than what I have at the moment!! What do I mean? Well, use your imagination when I say I live in West Yorkshire!

No, as in dumbarse.
