"Welcome" sign

Hello All!
I have a friend in Poland who is preparing to get married this summer. As a gift, I would like to make a wooden sign for their first house together that says:
"Welcome to our home" and then their names.
What is the best way to say "Welcome to our home" ? I would like it to be a warm welcome for anyone that is visiting them, and not too formal.
Some of the translators I have found on the internet give different results, such as:
"Powitanie do naszego domowy (dom)"
and
"Mile widziany wobec nasz ognisko domowe"

I do not speak Polish, and I'm just beginning to get a flavor for the language, but I want to be correct with the meaning so that it does not sound funny to Polish people that are their house guests.

Please help!

"Witajcie w naszym domu - [put here the names]"
would be the exact translation.

E.g. "Witajcie w naszym domu - Anna i Jan"

'i' means 'and' in polish. Just remeber to put woman's name first, otherwise some people may consider it to be not polite enough :-)

How about the phrase "witajcie w domu" ?

Is that equivalent to your suggestion? The only reason I ask is that it is shorter (easier to place on the sign).

Witajcie w domu (without the naszym) may be interpreted as Welcome back -- usually extended to someone who is returning home atfer an extended stay elsewhere. One easy way of getting round all these problems is to produce a banner that simply proclaims: WITAMY!
If the names are absolutely necessary you may write: Aniu i Janku - WITAMY!

no it's just wrong - it means that only Ania and Janek are welcomed...

If you want to make it shorter you can use:
"Witamy - Anna i Jan".

That would simply mean "Welcome - Anna and Jan". That's quite normal to say when you welcome people to your house (especially when such sign hangs on the front door ;-)

So, it sounds like I have two options:

The long one:
"Witajcie w naszym domu - Anna i Jan"

The short one:
"Witamy! - Anna i Jan"

Is everyone in agreement that these are both okay, and appropriate for a sign they can hang on their front door to make guests feel welcome?
