i / a what is the difference?

is there any one who can help me with the difference of a and i??

"i" means "and"

'a" is more like "what about"

"a" always seems to be more like when something is in addition to, or like "i" but the next thing you mention isn't as obvious.

Of course my polish is not what others' language ability is on this board so there's an excellent, excellent chance that i'm waaaaaaay off.

this is a question that has intrigued me as well - more than once.
