WNBA salaries in Poland

Does anybody know how or why Poland pays wnba players good money when Polish doctors make peanuts?

Because in the US football players make millions a year while nurses struggle to have 1-10% of that...

Because football in the US is a dangerous game and you if a nurse wanted to play football then she too can make more money...:)

Besides, I don't think a WNBA player would like to play for much less than in the US; it's like you asked why David Beckham will make near 100 Million dollars for playing in the US when American doctors make peanuts compared to him...

I read that some wnba players are making over $200,000 in Russia. Russia has oil money. I just want to know where is the money coming from to pay wnba players in Poland?

$200K a year isn't a lot for a known sportsperson. Poland has many affluent sponsors too (spirit industry, crude, oil, electronics etc.).

Do these sponsors give their money to Polish hospitals? If they don't they should since there is a brain drain going on in Poland with Polish doctors leaving the country. If they don't they and the basketball players should feel guilty. This money should go to Polish hospitals to keep the doctors.

LOL....my thoughts exactly.......no place on the face of this earth is perfect.....everywhere there is the problem of sports figures making more money than doctors, nurses, and teachers.
