Yep, he does. And he was really sweet to me. But there's an age diff (and he's still in college). So we are just very good friends now...

He was such a wonderful human being that I kind of wish that I hadn't met him.

I have read this thread with interest and would just like to throw in my opinion. It seems to me that girls and guys dont fit neatly into categories such as good and bad... if they did then life would be simple wouldnt it, you would just pick the one that you were in the mood for at the time. As shopgirl said, all of us have good and bad sides to us and the balance of these often changes with time and experience. So you might consider yourself to be a good person right now, but you cant say in the future. We all have our own set of morals, but when it comes to relationships sometimes we can act totally out of character. Personally I would hate to categorise myself or anyone else as either good or bad, others may judge me and thats their perogative, but its pointless trying to label someone due to past or previous experience or assumptions because we are all dynamic individuals and people can constantly surprise you.

Age is just a number.



I know what you mean, it hurts when you can't be with someone you really, really admire but to wish you hadn't met them isn't the answer. I honestly don't know what the answer is, but I do know that life can be tough and unfair.

Very true. I think it is human nature to pigeon-hole people, we do it subconsciously.
