Does anybody know about franchise in Poland?

Im foreigner who considers to relocate to warsaw.

well, for relcoation, there is need for job) so...one of the options came in my mind is..franchise. If anyone is familiar with this field in Poland and especially in warsaw, I would be grateful to discuss with. for example, what are the popular food networks in Warsaw (that works in franchise system)

Im considering about buying franchise in poland - does someone knows how much in average costs franchise? what is the total investment I should make in this field there? what is the average rental fee etc (commercial places)..and to what extent the company that sells franchise ..helps the one who buys the franchise?

No,its not crowded there is still huge potential to be explored in Poland locations.Are you saying that multi million worth companies are opening franchises without doing there home work?Some stores in Warsaw I personally know rake in over 250k $ a year net profit.

They aren't the ones opening most of the franchises here, are they?

My walk home from work is about 1.2km. I go past three Zabkas. I used to go past four but one of them has closed down again (it closed down last month and also at about this time last year). I also go past or within 50 metres of at least eleven (I'm doing the journey in my head now, so I may miss a few) more convenience/food stores - most of which are franchise/agencies, all of the one that have opened in the last two years are - plus a supermarket and a market. About 250 to 300 metres of my walk is across a park where there are no shops. Does it sound to anybody else that the convenience/food store market in central Warsaw is saturated?


If I was employing a consultant, I'd very much want him to at least know such basic facts about my industry as the names of my brands and those of my competitors. Zabka is a chain of convenience stores run by agents who are independent businesspeople and owned by Mid Europa Partners; I have written a lot about Zabka. Freshpoint is a chain sandwich of store run by AmRest (and I'm pretty sure they aren't selling franchises, given how they have converted some of their flagship locations into Starbucks, which is another AmRest brand).

can you name specific locations to back up your claims since its a public information?(atleast by there adress those closed ones)Until they had greedy landlords :))or an alcohol license was refused.

However, Polish media has reported that AmRest is either selling or closing the brand. I personally know that some of the former Freshpoint locations have become Starbucks. With there being virtually no support from AmRest, I would very much recommend against purchasing a Freshpoint franchise (if they are even still for sale).
