As long as money is enough to live relatively comfortably, for a young graduate it's better to work than stay unemployed. Spain, Italy, Greece and Croatia have over 40% young unemployment and many other countries have over 30%. It's millions of people out of witch some can end up even in Poland.

I am from Romania, and the offer the employer made is very appealing for me because I have transport assured from Romania and also accomodation if I choose it.

For my first job abroad these benefits are crucial for me because it will allow me to live and work at reduced costs, at least maybe for a year after I accomodate myself. I want to do this because I know that some international experience does not hurt and is very useful to have in a CV.

Yes, I think so. You said your employer provides you with an accomodation, so that is an asset which saves you about 1000 zloties at least. I wonder if 2700 zloties is a net salary or an income tax will be deducted from it? Even if it is gross, I think you could still manage.

What is ZUS?

ZUS is retirement insurance. He asked you to make sure that 2700 is really NET what you get to hand.

ZUS is more than retirement insurance. It's also health insurance, sick leave and unemployment benefits. Check what they tell you is 1) after paying tax and ZUS and 2) Zus is paid. I don't know if you can employ a foreigner without it, but it's common for Polish people to work this way. If you get a garbage deal you need a health insurance.

I live in Lodz, it's a lovely city you're gonna love it. I earn less than you and I don't struggle to pay rent or buy food or something. Don't worry :)

I have got a job in Lodz ( Poland ) . they have offered me 3500 Brutto which will be around 2505 netto. I will only be provided with medical ( after sic months of continuously working ). I want to ask here that in my 3500 Salary , 3000 is basic and 500 is German language allowance.

Please tell me wathar the tax will also be applied on 500 Language allowance ? and if my netto become 2505 at the end. Can I afford for single room, food and transportation ?

2505 is enough for a single person to live comfortable in £ódź, although you will not be able to save any money.

Food in Poland has similar prices to discounters in Germany. Fruits, vegetables and meat products are substantially cheaper. Same about cigarettes.

Is it enough money to live ?

That's 3000 net. An apartment will cost you about half that, rent, fees and utilities included. Food and household supplies will cost you about 1000, less if you cook like the locals at home from scratch, more if you eat out a lot. That's fine if this is your first job and you are cool with living like a student. Not fine if you expect to save up some money, date or party, or you are older.

There are certainly better opportunities in the richer EU countries, but if this is really the best you can get, then it's doable. Good luck!

7440 gross is 5250 in hand - 1500 flat = 3750zl - 1000 food = 2750zl

I have seen numerous calculations which leave a good amount of disposable income. However, where are the costs for electricity, gas, water, rubbish, travel to and from work, telephone costs, internet, clothes and shoes, household items, cosmetics (incl. soap, toothpaste etc). Once you take everything out of the disposable income - your leftover income might be a lot less.

Living 'well' - is a description which needs explaining. If you cook your own meals from scratch getting the produce at local markets - you save money. If you go out to eat once or twice a week (even to Pizza places) - then the situation is different.

Well I quite like Lodz - lots of character, low costs and definitely on the up after some tough times. You will achieve nothing with that attittude.
